Account verification

So why do I need to submit documents?

Account verification is part of Mongoose Casino security protocol and KYC (Know Your Customer) process where we require our registered players to submit documents in order to verify their identity. This process allows Mongoose Casino to ensure that all monetary and non-monetary transactions are made to the original owner of the account, they are above 18 years old, and their submitted information during registration is authentic and meet our strict obligations of transparency and confidential records.


How to verify your account and how long is the process

Getting your account verified is a swift and easy process. Once you have registered, you will be required to follow this process, which is mandatory before any withdrawals. The sooner you verify your account, the better and you can play our casino games and withdraw your winnings without any restrictions.

To verify your account, follow the steps below:

  • Log into your account
  • Go to your account setting and click on Documents
  • Select the type of documents to upload
  • Browser your device and click on upload.

Submitting the documents takes no longer than a few minutes. Submitted documents are processed by our Security Team within a maximum of 24 hours however processing over the weekend may take longer.

What documents do I need to submit for verification?

The documents that we require you to submit for verification are aligned with the information provided during registration and your payment method. Therefore, Mongoose Casino requires 3 documents:


A government issued picture ID that clearly shows your name and date of birth.

This may include passport, driving license, National ID Card, social security

Proof of Address

A document that clearly states your address, not older than 3 months (this must match the address you provided during registration)

These may include utility bills, bank statement or official letters stating your address

Deposit method

A document or image proving that you are the authentic account holder of the deposit method you have used to fund your account

These may include a screenshot of your logged in e-wallet account

In case player change or switch to a new payment method, they will need to submit another document again and follow the same process of verification.

Credit/Debit cards

If players are funding their account through a debit or credit card, the image of your credit card (front side only and with only the first 6 and last 4 numbers on the card visible) is required for verification. The full name on the card along with the expiry / valid thru date needs to be clearly visible in the image.


Tips on uploading documents

In order to swiftly pass this process, it is important that the documents you have submitted are easy to read and understand. We require clean and clear pictures or screenshots with the uploaded file not over 2MB. We only accept documents in JPEG, PNG or PDF format.

When taking an image of any documents, make sure that you are using a device with a decent camera with proper lighting and in a squared angle that covers the entire document without cutting any edges so it becomes easy for our team to identify all components of the document.

The image must be clear and sharp to allow us to read the details


The document must be fully visible, with no corners cut and in colour


All personal data must be readable and not covered at all.


How do I know its approval or rejection?

While most of the times, the documents submitted to our requirements are approved, there are circumstances when our security team might reject the submitted documents. This may be due to numerous reasons including:

  • The submitted document was not clear or fully understandable
  • The documents were not as per our requirements
  • The documents were not issued by a reliable authority

The approval or rejection of these documents is notified through email. As another alternative, players can also go to the Documents section of their account section and see colour coded traffic lights. These lights will indicate one of three statuses:

  • Red for required meaning the document stull has not been submitted
  • Yellow for pending meaning the document is in the process of verification
  • Green meaning the particular document has been approved.

If all the documents submitted have been approved as per our security requirements, players will see a Green check mark in their Account status, under Profile settings.
